My time with CLC.

CLC Christian bookshops in Leicester had one of the biggest impacts on my life. There, I discovered a huge amount of amazing books, but I also found Paul, the bookshop manager at the time, and now one of the most important people in my life.

I would pop in with the visit on Saturdays and spend hours reading discovering new books and having chats with Paul. On occasions, some of the other clients would be browsing books that I have just browsed and I had a chance to share my recommendations, which naturally lead to conversations. Sometimes almost an hour-long conversation.

This later led to helping with selling and customer service as well as being more involved with selling books during some local events and conferences.

I helped during the One Event in Leeds on one occasion and another time during the Vineyard worship conference in Hayes.

But by far, the most fun I had was when refurbishing and moving some shops from one location to another.
